VIOLET:
With Yellow Ch 6, join to form (1) ring, Ch 1 and work 10 Sc in ring, join, break yarn.
2^nd Rnd Attach Shaded Lavenders, " 2 Sc in each of the next 2 Sc of 1 st Rnd, Ch 1 to turn all rows.
3^rd Rnd 1 Sc in each Sc.
4^th Rnd Increase 1 Sc at (6 Sc). Work 1 Rnd even, beg. and end of Rnd
6^th and 7^th Rnd: Decrease 1 Sc at beg. of each Rnd, Ch 2, turn.
8^th Rnd 1 Dc in each of the next 3 s cleaving last lp size of of each Dc on hook,
yarn over and pull through all lps at (1) time,
Ch 3, SLst in base of same Rnd, SLst in each
Rnd down side of petal,
rep. from * until there are 5 petals, join in base of first petal, break yarn.

Work 2^nd violet in same way joining top of 1 petal to top of any petal of 1 st violet.
To join: Ch 2, SLst in top of previous violet, Ch 2, SLst in same sp on violet being made.
Work 16 more violets
joining to petal of previous violet leaving 1 petal free at lower edge and 2 petals free at top between joinings.
BASIC CENTER No. 1
With White work (1) Rnd of 9 Ch lps all around
increasing in every 8^th lp on center (54 lps).
Attach Green in lp, 4 Sc over same lp, Ch 1 and with the single petals next to center, Sc in single free petal of violet,
Ch 1, 4 Sc over same lp on center, 3 Sc over next lp, Ch 5, SLst in 7^th Rnd on left hand side of same petal,
Ch 1, skip 1 st of Ch, 1 Sc in each of the next 4 sts of Ch, 2 Sc in same lp on center,
Ch 7, SLst in 7^th Rnd of next petal of same flower to right of joining, Ch 1, skip 1 st of Ch,
1 Sc in each of the next 6 sts, 3 Sc over same lp on center, 3 Sc over next lp, Ch 7,
SLst in 7^th Rnd to left of joining of next violet, Ch 1, skip 1 st of Ch, 1 Sc in each of the next 6 sts,
2 Sc over same lp on center, Ch 5, SLst in 7^th Rnd on right hand side of next petal of same flower,
Ch 1, skip 1 st of Ch, 1 Sc in each of the next 4 sts, 4 Sc over same lp, 4 Sc over next lp,
Ch 1, Sc in top of same petal, Ch 1, 4 Sc over same lp on center,
rep. from * in same way until all flowers are joined.
BASIC CENTER No. 2
Work violets same as for Basic Center No. 1
but working 5 groups of 3 violets each and using Ch 1 between joinings.
Attach Green in 1 st Dc of any Dc group on center,
Sc in same sp, 1 Sc in each of the next 3 Dc, Ch 4, SLst in last Sc for picot,
1 Sc in each of the next 3 Dc, holding violets with 2 free petals next to center,
** Ch 1, SLst in top of first free petal of first violet of any 3 violet group,
Ch 1, SLst in same Sc on center, Ch 5, yarn over hook twice,
insert in 5^th st from hook, pull through,
yarn over and work off 2 lps twice,
yarn over hook twice,
insert in same sp, pull through,
yarn over and work off 2 lps twice,
yarn over and pull through remaining lps at (1) time (1)(rice-st), Ch 4, SLst in top of rice-st for picot,
Ch 5, rice-st in 5^th st from hook, Sc in first Dc of next Dc group, Ch 1, SLst in top of next free petal of same flower,
Ch 1, SLst in same Sc on center,
