Doily measures about 10 1\2 inches in diameter


Starting at center, Ch 10, join with SLst.
First Rnd: 24 Sc in ring, SLst in first Sc made.
2nd Rnd: Sc in same place as SLst,
* Ch 5, skip 3 Sc, Sc in next Sc.
rep. from * around. SLst in first Sc made (6 lps made).
3rd Rnd: In each lp make Sc, H-Dc, 3 Dc, H-Dc and Sc. SLst in first Sc made (6 petals made).
4th Rnd: Ch 5, 1 Sc between petals with Ch 5 between scs. Join (6 lps made).
5th Rnd: Rep. 3rd Rnd.
6th Rnd: SLst between Sc and H-Dc, Ch 7, to count as Dble-Tr and Ch 2,
* Dble-Tr between H-Dc and Dc, (Ch 2, Dble-Tr between this Dc and next Dc) twice;
Ch 2, Dble-Tr between this Dc and next H-Dc, Ch 2, Dble-Tr between this H-Dc and next Sc,

FIRST LEAF:
First Rnd: Starting at center
Ch 11, Sc in 2nd Ch from hook and in each Ch across, Ch 2, Sc in same place as last Sc,
Sc in each Ch along opposite side of foundation chain. Ch 1, turn.
Hereafter, pick up only the back lp of each Sc throughout.
2nd Rnd: Sc in each Sc across to within the Ch-2 sp; in the sp work Sc, Ch 2 and Sc,
then work Sc in each Sc along other side to within last Sc, Ch 1, turn (1 Sc decreased).
Rep. 2nd Rnd until there are 14 Sc on each side of Ch-2 sp. Ch 1, turn.
To join, work Sc in 9 Sc, Sc between 2nd and 3rd groups of (1) 5-group lp,
Sc in each remaining Sc on leaf to within the Ch-2 sp, Sc in sp, Ch 1,
Sc between the 2 groups of next 2-group lp on center, Ch 1, Sc back in Ch-2 sp of leaf,
Sc in next 5 Sc, Sc between 3rd and 4th groups of next 5-group lp,
Sc in next 9 Sc on leaf.
Break yarn.

Second LEAF:
Work same as First Leaf until there are 14 Sc on each side of Ch-2 sp,
but join as follows: Ch 1, Sc in last Sc of previous leaf, turn;
Sc in next 9 Sc on Second Leaf,
Sc between 2nd and 3rd groups of same 5-group lp to which previous leaf was joined.
Sc in each remaining Sc on Second Leaf to within the Ch-2 sp, Sc in sp,
Ch 1, Sc between the 2 groups of next 2-group lp on center,
Ch 1, Sc back in Ch-2 sp of leaf, and complete joining in same way that Fist Leaf was joined.
Break yarn.
Make 14 more leaves like this,
joining as Second Leaf was joined,
and joining last leaf with Sc to First Leaf to complete 13th Rnd of doily. Do not break yarn.

14th Rnd: Ch 3, skip 1 Rnd of last leaf,
** Dc at end of next Rnd,
