1. Cast on 66 stitches on size 10 needles and use Lace pattern .
2. knit even until piece measures 44,0 cms (66 rows).
3. Armhole shaping. Cast off 3 stitches at beginning of next 2 rows.
Dec 1 st at each end of every alternate row for 26 rows until 34 stitches
remaining.
Continue until armhole measures 24,0 cms (36 rows), with 34 stitches remaining.
4. Shape neck. knit both sides at the same time. knit 11 stitches.
With a second ball of yarn, cast off the next 12 stitches. knit remaining 11 stitches.
Dec 1 st at neck edge every row twice, until 9 stitches remain.
5. At the same time, when armhole measures 24,0 cms (row 36), start shoulder
shaping.
6. Shoulder shaping. Cast off remaining stitches at armhole edge of next row.
FRONT: Cardigan right side knitted first.
1. Cast on 34 stitches on size 10 needles and use Lace pattern .
2. knit even until piece measures 44,0 cms (66 rows).
3. Armhole. Dec for armhole at left end, as for back.
Continue until armhole measures 14,7 cms (22 rows), with 20 stitches remaining.
4. Shape neck. Right side of knit facing. Cast off next 5 stitches. Next row.
Continue armhole shaping until 28 rows knitted from beginning of armhole.
AT THE SAME TIME, Dec 1 st at neck edge (right end) every row 4 times, until
9 stitches remain.
5. knit even until armhole measures 24,0 cms (36 rows).
6. Shoulder shaping. Cast off as for back.
7. Left cardigan front. knit as for right side, reversing shapings.
SHOULDER SEAMS:
1. Sew fronts to back along shoulder seams.
FINISHING:
1. Sew side seams. Sew any remaining seams.
2. Crochet to desired length around the neckline edge and along fronts,
make buttonholes at right side and sew 8 buttons at left side.
3. Crochet to desired length around the body and armhole hems.
