Gauge in stocking stitch 14 stitches and 20 rows
Gauge in Norwegian pattern ; 14 x 15
Chunky wool, 600 gram gray, 100 gram red en 100 gram white
Needle size 6 mm and or circular needle 6 mm

Rib; K1, P1 to end
Stocking stitch; (right side) knit 1 row and (wrong side ) purl 1 row

Norwegian pattern; stocking stitch in fair isle pattern
If in pattern a new square is given,
increase 1 stitch invisible; with left needle, pick up loop between stitches on last row, twisting the loop; knit or purl in back bar of picked-up loop.

Cast on; with grey yarn, 70 stitches, begin with neck band
Slip stitches on 3 cm double pointed needles or a circular needles,
Close the first and last stitch, and knit rib for 12 cm ( 24 rows )
Increase in the last row 20 stitches, invisible,
There a total of 90 stitches

Knit Norwegian pattern as given, increase stitches as given in chart
If there are too many stitches on double pointed needles, slip on circular needles
At 34 rows ( 23 cm’s ) there are 216 stitches
Row 1; make a mark on the 60th stitch, 108th , 168th, 216th stitch, for raglan increasing
Next 4 rows; increase 1 invisible stitch,
before and after every marking
There are a total of 248 stitches
The first 67 stitches are the back
The next 57 stitches are the right sleeve
The next 67 stitches are the front
The next 57 stitches are the left sleeve
Divide the stitches as follows;
Start with the first 67 stitches
These are the back of the pattern

knit in pattern, after 80 rows, ( 40 cm )
knit rib for 7 cm’s, cast off all stitches
Continue with the next 57 stitches of the right sleeve,
Decrease every 4th row, 1 stitch at both sides, 10 times
Decrease every 6th row, 1 stitch at both sides,
4 times
There are a total of 29 stitches decreased
After 68 rows, ( 34 cm’s ) knit rib for 7 cm’s
Cast off all remaining stitches

Continue with the next 67 stitches of the front
knit in pattern, after 80 rows ( 40 cm’s )
Knit rib for 7 cm’s, cast off all remaining stitches
Continue with the next 57 stitches of the right sleeve,
Decrease every 4th row, 1 stitch at both sides, 10 times
Decrease every 6th row, 1 stitch at both sides,
4 times
There are a total of 29 stitches decreased

After 68 rows, ( 34 cm’s ) knit rib for 7 cm’s
Cast off all remaining stitches
