Tips for my basic knitting patterns

1 First you knit your knitting swatch, if you want to knit in a fantasy pattern, knit your swatch in this stitch,
2 then determine your gauge, now you can choose a knitting pattern with the right gauge, this way it will always fit,
3 no need for special yarns or needles size, you decide which yarn you use and which gauge you use, so easy.

Tips for regular inch increments
17.7 = 17.75 = 17 3/4 inches. 18,8 = 18.75 = 18 3/4 inches. 9.9 = 10 inches and so on.
Knowing this will make it easy to just round up or down as they are such small increments.

BACK AND FRONT: knit 2 pieces the same.
1. Cast on 102 stitches on size 4 needles. knit in K1P1 ribbing for 2,8 ins. Inc 6 stitches evenly across the row to 108 stitches
total.
2. Change to size 5 needles and Stocking Stitch. knit even until piece measures 12,0 ins (78 rows), excluding hem.
3. Armhole shaping. Cast off 6 stitches at beginning of next 2 rows.
4. knit even for 8,0 ins more (130 rows total, excluding hem).
5. Boat neck ribbing. knit 2,8 ins (20 rows) in K1P1 ribbing. Cast off loosely in ribbing.

SHOULDER SEAMS:
1. Overlap front and back boat neck ribbing sections. Sew the side edges of the ribbing together.

SLEEVES:
1. Cast on 40 stitches on size 4 needles. knit in K1P1 ribbing for 2,3 ins. Inc 5 stitches evenly across the row to 45 stitches total.
2. Change to size 5 needles and Stocking Stitch.
3. Inc 1 st at each end of every 3rd row 6 times, then every 4th row 19 times to 95 stitches (94 rows total, excluding hem).
4. knit even until sleeve measures 15,9 ins (104 rows), excluding hem.
5. Cast off loosely.

FINISHING:
1. Sew sleeve top to armhole, easing to fit. Sew armhole castoff sections (on the front and back) to equal length along
the armhole end of the sleeve side edges, then sew remaining side and sleeve seams. Sew any remaining seams.
2. Darn/weave/sew in all loose ends.
