Short Rows: learn how-to knit animated knitting instructions
The short rowing technique is an invaluable addition to your knitting repertoire. Many people think it is too difficult, but with the aid of a good knitting technique reference, it is easy to learn and perfect. And once you feel comfortable with it, you will find many uses for it. For example, short rowing set-in shoulder slopes makes a much smoother finish than casting off stitches in steps.

Tips for my basic knitting patterns

1 First you knit your knitting swatch, if you want to knit in a fantasy pattern, knit your swatch in this stitch,
2 then determine your gauge, now you can choose a knitting pattern with the right gauge, this way it will always fit,
3 no need for special yarns or needles size, you decide which yarn you use and which gauge you use, so easy.

Tips for regular inch increments
17.7 = 17.75 = 17 3/4 inches. 18,8 = 18.75 = 18 3/4 inches. 9.9 = 10 inches and so on.
Knowing this will make it easy to just round up or down as they are such small increments.
