Tips for my basic knitting patterns

1 First you knit your knitting swatch, if you want to knit in a fantasy pattern, knit your swatch in this stitch,
2 then determine your gauge, now you can choose a knitting pattern with the right gauge, this way it will always fit,
3 no need for special yarns or needles size, you decide which yarn you use and which gauge you use, so easy.

Tips for regular inch increments
17.7 = 17.75 = 17 3/4 inches. 18,8 = 18.75 = 18 3/4 inches. 9.9 = 10 inches and so on.
Knowing this will make it easy to just round up or down as they are such small increments.

1. Cast on 122 stitches on size 4.5 needles and use Stocking Stitch.
2. knit even until piece measures 2,5 ins (18 rows).
3. Waist Shaping. Dec 1 st at each end of next row, then every following 4th row 9 times to 102 stitches. knit even for
1,7 ins (12 rows). Inc 1 st at each end of next row, then every following 6th row 7 times to 118 stitches. knit even for
1,9 ins (14 rows) to total 17,4 ins.
4. Armhole shaping. Cast off 9 stitches at beginning of next 2 rows. Dec 1 st at each end of every alternate row for 22
rows until 78 stitches remaining. Continue until armhole measures 7,4 ins (54 rows), with 78 stitches remaining.
5. Shape neck. knit both sides at the same time. knit 28 stitches.
Now attach another ball of yarn, cast off the next 22 stitches.
knit remaining 28 stitches. Dec 1 st at neck edge every row 8 times, until 20 stitches remain.
6. knit even until armhole measures 9,4 ins (68 rows).
7. Shoulder shaping. Cast off 10 stitches at armhole edge twice.

FRONT:
1-3 Follow steps 1, 2 and 3 as for back.
4. Armhole. Dec for armhole at both ends, as for back. Continue until armhole measures 0,6 ins (4 rows), with 96 stitches
remaining.
5. Divide for neck. knit both sides at the same time. knit 45 stitches.
Now attach another ball of yarn, cast off next 6 stitches
and knit remaining 45 stitches. Continue armhole shaping until 24 rows knitted from beginning of armhole. AT THE
SAME TIME,
6. Shape neck. Dec 1 st at neck edge of next row, then every 4th row 15 times, until 20 stitches remain.
7. knit even until armhole measures 9,4 ins (68 rows).
8. Shoulder shaping. Cast off as for back.

SHOULDER SEAMS:
1. Sew fronts to back along shoulder seams.

FINISHING:
1. Sew side seams. Sew any remaining seams.
2. Crochet to desired length around the neckline edge.
3. Crochet to desired length around the body and armhole hems.
4. Darn/weave/sew in all loose ends.

5. Shape neck. knit both sides at the same time. knit 28 stitches.
