Categories of men's sweaters: turtlenecks , polo necks , crew necks , V-necks and boat necks .
Turtle necks are standout sweaters, known for protecting the neck against cold elements.
Polo neck sweaters are between polo shirts and traditional men's sweaters.
Crew neck sweaters are far and away the most popular sweaters among men.
V-neck sweaters are classic, old country standards.
Boat neck sweaters are designed to buck conservative trends.

Tips for my basic knitting patterns

1 First you knit your knitting swatch, if you want to knit in a cable stitch pattern, knit your swatch with 1 or more cables,
2 then determine your gauge, now you can choose a knitting pattern with the right gauge, this way it will always fit,
3 no need for special yarns or needles size, you decide which yarn you use and which gauge you use, so easy.

The length and quality of the fiber in a knitting yarn determines its texture, luster, strength and hand.
Knitting yarn made from long fibers will pill less, be smoother, stronger, more lustrous and more elastic.
Your sweater or cardigan will pill less if you make the stitches tighter, so do not knit too loosely.
Knitting Yarns containing a mixture of fiber lengths are softer, fuzzier and less strong.
Tightly twisted knitting yarns display the texture of a knitted pattern to its best advantage.
Choose a knitting yarn with cotton, 50 % cotton and 50 % acryl or 50 % wool, would be a perfect choice.
