Free women's crochet patterns for flowers ( round shaped )
How to read these free crochet graphed patterns;
If I would make fitted patterns, you
have to use exactly the same yarn, as I crocheted with, otherwise the pattern
would not fit properly anymore.
That would not be very handy, because
I do not think you can buy the same yarn as I can here, in the Netherlands.
You can adapt many patterns, with a little
creativity and fantasy to your own fashion size |

Once you have seen some of these basic
crochet patterns, you will learn it is very easy to adapt a pattern, to
a larger or smaller fashion size. With a larger or smaller hook, with
thicker or thinner yarn.
This way you can change the size of the flower, square or what other
shape you are crocheting.When the flower you have crocheted, is bigger than was given in your
pattern, than the result will be a larger size, and visa versa, when the
flower is smaller, you will have a smaller size, than the original
pattern.
So take a good look at the basic patterns here and learn how to adapt very easily
these patterns to one of your own size.
Don't look at a pattern and think, what a pity, not in my size,
but try to think; how can I change this to my own size.
Would it not be great to have all the patterns you want, with a little
altering, here and there.
There is no myth, there are no secret tricks to crochet patterns, in
fact, they are very easy to change.
Adding one or two rows or just leaving
them out, will also change the pattern, to a larger or smaller size.
It is just a matter of mathematics and knowing your own size, that
will do the trick for you.
Just add 4 inches for ease to your own measurements and it will fit comfortable.
I have added 3-4 inches for ease in these basic crochet patterns.

I have crocheted some flowers, and used a delicate cotton
thread - the kind you use with the metal hooks. The size of the flower,
will depend on the thickness of the yarn you use to crochet your flower
with.
If you want to have a special size, and your flower is not big
enough, just increase the size of your hook and use thicker yarn.
You can use these crochet patterns for almost any pattern on this page.
Depending on how fast you crochet, a flower will take about 10 - 20 min
to create.
