Repeat Row 1 for pattern until desired height. Optional Border: When you have reached the desired height, continue working the pattern down the sides and the bottom edge. Be sure to space out the pattern and work the Double V group into the corners. This will give the whole piece a wavy border. Fasten off. |

This Pattern is great with Varigated Yarn. I use a J or K Hook. Chain a Multiple of 10, Add 2 more chains. Foundation Row: Skip 2 Chains, 1 DC into each of the next 4 chains *skip 2 chains, 1 dc into each of next 4 chains, Chain 2, 1 DC into each of next 4 chains* Repeat from * to last 6 chains. Skip 2 chains, 1 DC into each of the next 3 chains, 2 dc into the last chain. Chain 3, turn. Row 1: 1 DC into first stitch, 1 DC into each of the next 3 stitches *skip 2 stitches, 1 dc into each of the next 3 stitches, [1 DC, CH 2, 1 DC] into the chain 2 space 1 DC into each of the next 3 stitches* Repeat from * to last 6 stitches. Skip 2 stitches, 1 DC into each of next 3 Stitches, 2 DC into top of Turning Chain. Chain 3, turn. Repeat Row 1 until desired height. |

Chain a Multiple of 11 plus 6. Foundation Row: In Third Chain from Hook DC, DC into each of the next 4 chains. *Skip 2 Chains, 5 DC into the next Chain, Chain 2, Skip 3 Chains, DC into each of the next 5 Chains*. Repeat * until end, Chain 3, Turn. Row 1: Skip Base of Turning Chain (first stitch), 1 DC into each of the next 4 DC. *Skip 2 chains, 5 DC into next DC, Chain 2, Skip 4 DC, 1 DC into each of the next 5 DC* Repeat * to end, Chain 3, Turn Repeat Row 1 for pattern. When Desired Height is reached you may finish off in the following manner: At last Row, Chain 2 (instead of 3), Half Double Crochet (HDC) in the next 4 DC (5DC as pattern continues). 2 HDC into the chain 2 Space. Slip stitch in each stitch of the shell. Continue in this manner until end reached and fasten off. |

This Pattern if worked with a K hook takes less than 1 skein each of a dark
and light color and about 1 skein of light (Aran or off white). For small
blankets work up to 19 rounds, ending in the darker of the three colors. The
size will be about 24". I use a J or K Hook. Round 1: Color A: Chain 4, slip stitch to 1st chain, chain 3 (counts as first DC). Dc in ring twice more, chain 3 3 DC, Chain 3, 3 DC, Chain 3, 3 DC, Chain 3, 3 DC, Chain 3. Join to top of first chain 3, slip stich to chain 3 corner, Join Color B. Repeat Row 1 until desired height |
