Tips for my basic knitting patterns |

1 First you knit your knitting swatch, if you want to knit in a fantasy pattern, knit your swatch in this stitch,
2 then determine your gauge, now you can choose a knitting pattern with the right gauge, this way it will always fit, 3 no need for special yarns or needles size, you decide which yarn you use and which gauge you use, so easy. Mark this row at both ends for armhole. Continue until armhole measures 12,0 cms (36 rows), 4. Shape neck. knit both sides at the same time. knit 20 stitches. Slip the next 23 stitches to a holder. Now attach another ball of yarn and continue across second half of stitches, and knit remaining 20 stitches. Dec 1 st at neck edge every row 3 times, until 17 stitches remain. 5. knit even until armhole measures 13,3 cms (40 rows). Cast off 17 shoulder stitches loosely. FRONT: 1-2 Follow steps 1 and 2 as for back. 3. Armhole. Mark this row at both ends for armhole. Continue until armhole measures 8,0 cms (24 rows). 4. Shape neck. knit both sides at the same time. knit 24 stitches. Slip the next 15 stitches to a holder. Now attach another ball of yarn and continue across second half of stitches, and knit remaining 24 stitches. Dec 1 st at neck edge every row 7 times, until 17 stitches remain. 5. knit even until armhole measures 13,3 cms (40 rows). Cast off 17 shoulder stitches loosely. SLEEVES: 1. Cast on 33 stitches on size 2 needles. knit in K1P1 ribbing for 3,0 cms. Inc 4 stitches evenly across the row to 37 stitches total. 2. Change to size 3 needles and Stocking Stitch. 3. Inc 1 st at each end of every 4th row 7 times, then every 5th row 4 times to 59 stitches (48 rows total, excluding hem). 4. knit even until sleeve measures 17,0 cms (52 rows), excluding hem. 5. Cast off loosely. LEFT SHOULDER SEAM: 1. Sew front to back along left shoulder seam. ROUND (CREW) FRONT NECK SINGLE BAND COLLAR: --- by hand on size 2 needles. 1. With right side of knit facing, pick up and knit 3 stitches from right back neck edge, 23 stitches from back neck holder, 3 stitches from left back neck edge, 14 stitches from left front neck edge, 15 stitches from front neck holder and 14 stitches from right front neck edge.
