1 First you knit your knitting swatch, if you want to knit in a fantasy pattern, knit your swatch in this stitch,
2 then determine your gauge, now you can choose a knitting pattern with the right gauge, this way it will always fit, 3 no need for special yarns or needles size, you decide which yarn you use and which gauge you use, so easy. A-line Shaping. Dec 1 st at each end of next row, then every following 16th row once to 40 stitches. knit even for 5,3 cms (10 rows) to total 14,7 cms, excluding hem. 4. Armhole shaping. Cast off 1 stitches at beginning of next 2 rows. Continue until armhole measures 12,6 cms (24 rows), with 38 stitches remaining. 5. Shape neck. knit both sides at the same time. knit 12 stitches. Slip the next 14 stitches to a holder. With a second ball of yarn, knit remaining 12 stitches. Dec 1 st at neck edge every row twice, until 10 stitches remain. 6. At the same time, when armhole measures 12,6 cms (row 24), start shoulder shaping. 7. Shoulder shaping. Cast off remaining stitches at armhole edge of next row. Cast on 22 stitches on size 5.5 needles. knit in K1P1 ribbing for 3,0 cms. Inc 2 stitches evenly across the row to 24 stitches total. 2. Change to size 6.5 needles and Stocking Stitch. 3. Inc 1 st at each end of every 8th row once, then every 9th row twice to 30 stitches (26 rows total, excluding hem). 4. knit even until sleeve measures 17,0 cms (34 rows), excluding hem. 5. Shape cap. Cast off 1 stitches at beg of next two rows (28 stitches rem). Dec 1 st at each end of every row twice, then dec 1 st at each end of every 2nd row 6 times, then dec 1 st at each end of every row twice. Cast off remaining 8 stitches loosely. LEFT SHOULDER SEAM: 1. Sew front to back along left shoulder seam. ROUND (CREW) FRONT NECK SINGLE BAND COLLAR: --- by hand on size 5.5 needles. 1. With right side of knit facing, pick up and knit 2 stitches from right back neck edge, 14 stitches from back neck holder, 2 stitches from left back neck edge, 8 stitches from left front neck edge, 10 stitches from front neck holder and 8 stitches from right front neck edge. Total 44 stitches. 2. knit 2,0 cms (6 rows) in K1P1 ribbing. 3. Cast off loosely. FINISHING: 1. Sew sleeve top to armhole, easing to fit. Sew side and sleeve seams. Sew any remaining seams. 2.
