Tips for my basic knitting patterns |

1 First you knit your knitting swatch, if you want to knit in a fantasy pattern, knit your swatch in this stitch,
2 then determine your gauge, now you can choose a knitting pattern with the right gauge, this way it will always fit, 3 no need for special yarns or needles size, you decide which yarn you use and which gauge you use, so easy. Change to size 4.5 needles and Stocking Stitch. knit even until piece measures 20,0 cms (48 rows), excl. hem. 3. Mark this row at both ends for armhole. Continue until armhole measures 15,0 cms (36 rows), 4. Shape neck. knit both sides at the same time. knit 22 stitches. Slip the next 22 stitches to a holder. Now attach another ball of yarn and continue across second half of stitches, and knit remaining 22 stitches. Dec 1 st at neck edge every row twice, until 20 stitches remain. 5. knit even until armhole measures 16,7 cms (40 rows). Cast off 20 shoulder stitches loosely. FRONT: 1-2 Follow steps 1 and 2 as for back for 19,2 cms (46 rows) from hem. 3. Divide for neck. knit both sides at the same time. knit 31 stitches. Now attach another ball of yarn, cast off center 4 stitches, and knit remaining 31 stitches. 4. Shape neck. Dec 1 st at neck edge of next row, then every 3rd row once, then every 4th row 9 times. 5. Armhole. (knit measures 20,0 cms from hem). Mark this row at both ends for armhole. Complete neckline shaping until 20 stitches remain. 6. knit even until armhole measures 16,7 cms (40 rows). Cast off 20 shoulder stitches loosely. SLEEVES: 1. Cast on 33 stitches on size 3.5 needles. knit in K1P1 ribbing for 4,0 cms. Inc 1 stitches evenly across the row to 34 stitches total. 2. Change to size 4.5 needles and Stocking Stitch. 3. With right side of knit facing, pick up and knit (starting at bottom of front neck) 32 stitches from right front neck edge, 2 stitches from right back neck edge and 11 stitches from back neck holder to center. Total 45 stitches. 2. knit 2,0 cms (6 rows) in K1P1 ribbing. 3. Cast off loosely. 4. knit the left side the same way as the right, picking up the back neck stitches first. FINISHING: Sew sleeve top to armhole, sew any remaining seams. Darn/weave/sew in all loose ends.
