I used a crochet hook crochethook

longer, than normal, carry the tail of the yarn, while crocheting,
for a firmer sole.
Sole
Cast on 12 chain stitches or foundation stitches,

Crochet single crochets, all around, and increase in every row
left and right from the center stitch, in front and back 4 - 6 st.
carry the tail of the thread, while crocheting, for a firmer sole.

Depending on your yarn and crochet hook size, crochet until
desired length of sole, here approximately 8 cm or 3 inches

take care the band is now on the other side
Sew a nice button
the variations are numerous,
just crochet the desired size of the sole,
