variation on crochet pattern 1

Crochet stitches in symbols

I used a smaller crochet hook 2 mm
and
thinner cotton yarn

Crochet single crochets, all around, and increase in every row
left and right from the center stitch, in front and back 4 - 6 st.
carry the tail of the thread, while crocheting, for a firmer sole.

Depending on your yarn and crochet hook size, crochet until
desired length of sole, here approximately 10 cm or 4 inches

This is the sole of the baby bootie

* 1 single crochet, skip 2 st., crochet 5 double crochets in 1 st., skip 2 st. *
( between * and * is the fantasy stitch)
repeat the fantasy stitch all around
and close round with a slipstitch

try to have 1 crochet shell in center front and 1 in center back of the sole, divide the stitches accordantly

I have 14 crochet shells totally, all around

start with 3 chain st., this is 1 double cr. and 1 chain st., than;

* on the shell of the previous row,
* 1 single crochet, 1 chain,
on the single crochet of the previous row, between 2 shells,
1 double crochet , 1 chain, 1 double crochet = 1 V, 1 chain st. *
( between * and * is the fantasy stitch)
crochet the fantasy stitch all around, and at the end of the row;
1 double cr. , 1 chain, and close the round with
a slipst. in the 2nd chain st. of the beginning of this row

repeat row 1, last row are shells
1 nup = cluster of 3 double crochets

break yarn
crochet another nup on the 2nd single crochet of the prev. row

I have crocheted 1 row with pico's around the sole

Band
crochet band after the 3rd shell
25 chain st.,
crochet in 6th st. from end
3 double crochets in 1 st., skip 1 st., 1 single crochet,
skip 1 st., repeat 5 times
8 single crochets around the 5 chain st. at the end,
= buttonhole
crochet back again, at the opposite side
3 double crochets in 1 st., skip 1 st., 1 single crochet,
skip 1 st., repeat 5 times
fasten with slipstitch, break yarn

baby bootie variation 3

Crochet until desired height of the bootie, I crocheted like this;

row 1;
*1 S.C., 1 chain st., skip 2 st. , 1 nup of 3 D.C., 1 chain st.,
in the next stitch; 1 D.C., 1 chain st.,
in the next stitch; 1 nup of 3 D.C., 1 chain st., skip 2 st. *
repeat all around
row 2;
*1 S.C. on the S.C. of the previous row, 1 chain st.,
5 D.C. on the D.C. of the previous row, 1 chain st. *
repeat all around
row 3;
*on the S.C. of the previous row 1 nup of 3 D.C.,
3 chain st., in the same stitch; 1 nup of 3 D.C., 1 chain st.,
on the shell of the previous row; 2 joined D.C., 1 chain st. *
repeat all around
row 4;
5 D.C. in the 3 chain st. of the previous row, 1 chain st.,
1 S.C. on the joined D.C. of the previous row, 1 chain st., *
