or any other country.
They sell other yarns than here in the Netherlands.
So I reverse;
First crochet a tension swatch ( determine
your gauge ) with your own yarn and hook size you want
Than choose your pattern here, so easy.
You are free in choosing your own yarn and hook size.
Just count your stitches and rows over 4 inch or 10 cms,
and I think I have a pattern for you

cardigan, you can create the cutest baby clothes.

If you have more or lesser
rows in your tension swatch, follow the length given in cm's instead of
rows, in a pattern, this way it will fit always.
Foreign crochet and knitting patterns magazines, only give sizes in
cms, try to think more in cms.
I receive a lot of email from the American knitters and crocheters, with
questions like;
where is the crochet or knitting pattern ? I can not find it.
I think they mean; where is the written pattern?.
My patterns are mostly in symbol charts, so much easier.
Patterns can be written in several different ways. Crochet instructions
can be written out in abbreviations, presented as symbols, or can be a
combination of both.
While it may take a while to learn the symbols, they can save space, and
after awhile, many experienced crocheters find them easier to read.
Another good thing about crochet symbols is that they are international,
so no matter where the pattern comes from, the symbols will usually be
the same.
With a little practice, a crochet chart is easy to read and follow. Once
the symbols are familiar to you, you can see the entire patterns at a
glance. No more losing your place in lengthy row-by-row written
instructions.
With a chart based pattern you can find where you are, at one quick
glance at the chart.
With the verbiage based pattern, you have to find
the place among the words and READ.
Learning the symbols for single, double, triple and chain stitches isn't
difficult.
Once you learn these very easy symbols, crocheting will not only become
much faster for you, a whole new world opens in terms of pattern
availability simply because the symbols are more or less international.
A crocheter who doesn't read Dutch, ( that can't be too many
........ LOL .....)
BUT can read crochet symbols can make these beautiful crochet patterns.

but look at their symbols! THEY ARE THE SAME!
So, pick up a chart based magazine and LEARN the symbols. You will be so
very glad you did, as you find your projects going much faster. You
will be pleased when you stumble upon a beautiful pattern book
published in a foreign language -- and can easily work out the pattern
for yourself.
I do this all the time, and I can read Japanese, Chinese, or Korean
symbols easily, they are all the same.
The Only Limit Is Your Imagination
Tip: You can crochet flowers and sew onto a cardigan, make one also
on the back of the cardigan!

Single crochet:
chain 1 to turn, insert hook in 1st stitch of new row.
Half double crochet: chain 2 to turn, insert hook in 2nd stitch of new
row.
Double crochet: chain 3 to turn,
insert hook in 2nd stitch of new row.
Triple crochet: chain 4
to turn, insert hook in 2nd stitch of new row.
